What you’ll do :
Provide direction to the business unit through ongoing planning and strategy, providing guidance of operations and staff accountability, ensuring organization goals are met.
Create and implement yearly budgets, 5-year projections, business plans, period financial statements, SPEH and other commodity specific documents.
Leading divisional projects to successful completion. Ensure all liquor locations are completing and reporting accurate inventory.
Addressing all inventory discrepancies to ensure consistency and accuracy. Work with customers, reports and executives to demonstrate the Pioneer Co-op brand in all locations, providing exceptional customer experiences.
Play an active role in developing new business through marketing programs, merchandising, member analysis, individual contact, strategic insight and forward planning.
Strong understanding of SIRS. Knowledge of the CRS would be considered an asset, Responsible for fostering strong SLGA and vendor relations.
Responsible for the recruitment, onboarding, training / coaching of staff, disciplines performance reviews, salary administration and timecards.
Responsible to ensure compliance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement and Saskatchewan Employment Act. Work with Health and Safety Coordinator to ensure Health and Safety policies are being enforced and work with Health and Safety Responsible for asset protection of inventory.

Who you are :
- Previous retail management and supervisory experience
- Experience with wine, spirits and beer in a retail setting
- Related education and / or a strong business background preferred
- Willing to obtain Serve it Right Saskatchewan Certification
- Strong computer and technology skills
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Able to work a variety of shifts and be available for after hour emergencies
