We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our client, a large financial corporation, on a contractual basis.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, database management, and business process improvement.
Location : Toronto Canada Hybrid (1 day per week in office)
Rate : Up to $75 CAD per hour
Duration : 6 month rolling
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform data analysis, mapping, and reverse engineering
- Create comprehensive data mapping documents
- Query and explore databases to extract relevant information
- Identify critical data elements across various banking applications
- Interact with both business (60%) and technical (40%) teams
- Support regulatory programs and risk data aggregation initiatives
- Conduct business-side data analysis
Required Skills and Experience :
- Extensive experience as a Business Systems Analyst in the financial sector
- Strong SQL skills for database querying and data extraction
- Proficiency in data mapping and database management
- Experience with reverse engineering of data systems
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the banking industry
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to identify and analyze critical data elements across multiple applications
Preferred Qualifications :
- Knowledge of risk data aggregation processes
- Experience with regulatory compliance in banking
- Understanding of financial industry-specific applications and data structures
