Automotive Service Technician

ALicensed Automotive Service Technicianis needed at a busy shop in Downtown Toronto ON (Dundas and DVP).Knowledgeable and reliable Service Tech will be required to inspecttroubleshoot diagnose repair and maintain vehicles.

A team playerby nature the Automotive Service Tech diagnosis complex problemsand find efficient solutions forthem.

TheAutomotive Service Technicianwho excels in this role shouldremain informed on Federal andProvincial Regulations relatedto Safe Driving and be able use handheldequipment andonboard compression gauges or diagnostic computers.

Must beexperienced in repairing vehicles from Mercedes Audi VolkswagenToyota Honda etc. systems including engines A / C electrical exhaustbrakes axles oillube service andmore.

DailyDutiesInclude :

• Processingparts orders invoices and paperwork clearly andefficiently
• Keepingcommunication open between customers and staff on status of workorders
• Providingaccurate and up to date reports on scheduled repairs conductedservices and potential issues based on diagnostic inspections;

Provide insight & recommendations

RedSeal Certified Automotive Service Tech with working knowledge ofautomotive equipmentmust :

• Possessstrong diagnostic and problemsolving skills in order to maintainoptimal customersatisfaction.
• Havewelldeveloped interpersonal skills to effectively work with othermembers of the Service Department team and shopmanagement
• Becommitted to consistently delivering high qualitywork
• Avalid Canadian driver s license and ability to provide driversabstract forreview.

Compensation

$34.00$43.00 / hour flat rate to start based on experience andtraining.

ToolsAllowance $300 peryear

BootsAllowance $120 reimbursed at the end of the year
