JOB DESCRIPTION

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Excited to embark on a journey with us? Here's a breakdown of the key responsibilities in this role :

Prepare financial and non-financial reports on a weekly and period basis.

Assist in preparation of the annual business plan, including uploading to PDI and Longview

Assist in preparation of quarterly analysis for corporate

Assist in producing financial analyses as need by Directors of Operations and Dir. Business Planning

Weekly gas reporting on volume and margin, working with Laval fuel accounting to improve same.

Prepare internal and external capital reports, for Statistics Canada, and corporate accounting

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

We want you to join our team! Here's what we're looking for :

Experience :

Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred. Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted.

Knowledge and skills :

Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills (database functions, pivot tables, confidence with large databases, designing reports quickly and accurately)

Financial accounting software and reporting tools (PDI and Longview reporting tools will be used, experience in similar software an advantage)

Intermediate level of accounting knowledge (Fixed assets, lease accounting, fuel accounting)

Organization knowledge (various organizational levels, accounting systems), and business knowledge (product offering, key factors of success at the retail unit level, pricing, margin calculations).

Positive helpful attitude and determination to make a difference

A firm grasp of analytical tools is required, and development of new tools as they come along.
