Lab Technician - Temporary

Do you have previous experience as a lab technician or lab assistant? Are you available for a full time, temporary assignment starting ASAP for approximately 6 months.

Potential to be extended based on business needs. This is a full time, daytime role at a company located in Downtown / North Winnipeg.

The chosen candidate will be able to accurately analyze, calculate and report data on a wide variety of wheat, flour milling and shipping samples.

Responsibilities

• Grinding up grain and running tests on grain
• Data entry
• Computer use (Excel and Word)
• Working independently

Qualifications

• Track record of attendance and reliability
• Ability to follow direction and work independently
• Basic computer skills (Excel and Word)
• Strong written and verbal English
• As this position requires you to work directly with grains must ensure to not have any grain or wheat based allergies
• Experience with flour milling is an asset.
• Experience with H.A.C.C.P. and Food Safety is an asset
