Lab Technician Assistant (Full Time / Part Time Contract)

Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited (P&H) has an opportunity for a motivated, forward-thinking, and dedicated individual as a Lab Technician Assistant (Full Time / Part Time Contract) for our Grain division based in Winnipeg, MB.

The Contract Lab Technician Assistant availability requirement from August - December 2025, Monday to Friday mornings or evenings with occasional overtime or weekend hours P&H GrainThe P&H Grain Division is a comprehensive grain and crop input network, operating across approximately 45 locations in the prairie provinces, Ontario and Quebec. Our strategically positioned facilities, including grain elevators, rail sidings, inland terminals, and specialized export terminals, ensure that we effectively match producer grain with the needs of both domestic and export end users. As a full-service agri-retailer, we provide farming communities with a full range of quality crop input products and agronomic solutions, encompassing crop protection products, certified seeds, nutrients, and custom applications.Your RoleAs Lab Technician Assistant, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the various tests and procedures required to accurately grade the quality and condition of grain samples for growers, traders and P&H’s various facilities. This position will assist the Quality Control Manager and Lab Technicians with additional duties as assigned.

• Preparing various samples for analysis and testing
• Reporting / logging detailed results of tests and samples
• Performing maintenance checks on equipment and log maintenance activity.
