Job Summary

We areseeking an Electrical Engineer to join EastWest Pipelines Dept.EastWest Pipelines Dept. is responsible for providing anengineering support to 11 crude oil pump stations 4 CompressionStation 2 Booster Stations at Jizan / Abha Pipelines and ASLStabilizer.

In addition leading BI19 projects that is related toelectrical systems and to participate in walkthrough activity forcapital projects.

Your primary role is to assess plant power systemand substations and recommend new installations or modifications toimprove power system reliability or the replacement ofdefective / obsolete electrical equipment.

KeyResponsibilities :

• Provide technical troubleshooting and assistance tomaintenance staff for resolving power systemrelatedissues.
• Conduct design reviews and providecomments for capital projects throughout the project cycleincluding design basis scoping paper project proposals and detaileddesign packages.
• Perform site activities suchas field engineering precommissioning support commissioning andstartup.
• Offer technical support for all fieldpower systems at EWPD facilities and maintain ETAP models for allplants.
• Prepare conceptual design packages andengineering budgetary cost estimates.
• Developand review power system designs for new projects and extensions toexisting systems.
• Review installation sitecommissioning and factory acceptance testing for low and highvoltage transformers switchgear circuit breakers and controlgear.
• Analyze components design parametersinstallation operation and maintenance requirements of UPS DC andbattery systems.
• Advise on calculation studyresults and lead implementation of recommendations optimizingconceptual power system design based on system studies.
• Resolve issues with power monitoring system (PMS)software.
• Provide project specifications anddemonstrate operations and maintenance requirements fortransformers switchgear circuit breakers and controlgear.
• Evaluate the economics of cost andoperation when selecting equipment.

Requirements :

• Willingness to relocate toDhahran Saudi Arabia.
• Hold aBachelors degree in electrical engineering.
• Possess certification as a Professional Engineer (PE) inthe Power field or equivalent.
• Be certified asNACE CP (minimum CP levelII).
• Holdcertification as a Project Management Professional(PMP).
• Have a minimum of 13 years ofexperience preferably in the oil industry or a similar processindustry.
