Shifts : Day or Evening
We are looking for an experienced Lathe Operator to join our team specializing in the maintenance of train axles. Under the supervision of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for cleaning, inspecting, and repairing axles while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities of the Lathe Operator
Clean the bearing surfaces and wheel seats of axles using a manual sander to aid in detecting any cracks.
Use a grinder to remove any detected cracks on the axles.
Perform magnetic inspections on axles to ensure all cracks are eliminated and verify compliance with safety standards.
Qualifications
Qualifications and Skills
Experience as a lathe operator or machinist
Proficiency in using manual sanders and grinders
Autonomy, precision, and strong attention to detail
Calm and thoughtful temperament, adaptability, and a versatile skill set
Knowledge in machining various materials, including steel, aluminum, and other specific materials
