Your Skills

The ideal candidate :

  • DEP (Diploma of Vocational Studies) in machine operation or machining techniques OR a minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Comfortable working with machines.
  • Ability to read a measuring tape (imperial units).
  • Good physical ability (50 lbs).
  • Responsibility and autonomy.

    What does an operator do at Morgan Transit?

  • Read blueprints.
  • Perform machine setup and shutdown for sheet metal bending.
  • Measure pieces to be cut.
  • Configure the machine for cutting adjustments.
  • Cut various parts made of steel, aluminum, or stainless steel.
  • Follow the company's health and safety rules and procedures.
  • Perform all related tasks in compliance with the company's health and safety rules and procedures.
