About the Role

Site Reliability Engineer will be responsible for maintaining the reliability, scalability, and security of our customers’ infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with various AWS technologies, Docker, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Kafka, and must be familiar with monitoring using DataDog and automation / CI / CD using GitHub Actions.

The candidate will work closely with development teams to build and deploy applications, manage infrastructure, and troubleshoot issues.

Key Responsibilities :

• Ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our customers’ infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Pulumi and Typescript.
• Automate infrastructure deployments and server provisioning using GitHub Actions.
• Implement and maintain CI / CD pipelines using Github Actions.
• Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems using DataDog.
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues in our production environment using DataDog.
• Design with security in mind and collaborate with the security team to ensure our infrastructure is secure.
• Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure and procedures.
• Work closely with development teams to build and deploy applications.
• Be on-call for incidents outside of business hours.

About You :

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineer or related role.
• Strong experience with AWS including VPC configuration, ECS Fargate, EC2, Load Balancers, Storage, AWS Route 53, and VPN.
• Familiarity with provisioning and operating databases and message brokers including MongoDb, Postgress, RabbitMQ, and Kafka.
• Programming experience in JavaScript / Typescript or C#
• Experience with GitHub and automation tools such as GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of Linux administration and shell scripting.
• Familiarity with monitoring using DataDog.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
