- Execute test cases, log results, and report findings.
- Identify and document defects found during testing using bug tracking systems.
- Review Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test case coverage.
- Assist in reviewing, updating, and maintaining the traceability matrix.
- Create and maintain a regression test suite for each production cycle.
- Identify and effectively utilize relevant testing tools during test execution.
- Assist in end-to-end testing of software applications.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of software changes and update test cases accordingly.
Requirements
This role requires a keen eye for detail, a methodical approach to testing, and a proactive attitude towards keeping test cases and processes up-to-date with software changes.
- Proficiency in executing test cases and reporting results.
- Experience with bug tracking systems for documenting defects.
- Ability to read and understand BRDs and translate requirements into test cases.
- Knowledge of maintaining traceability matrices.
- Expertise in creating and maintaining regression test suites.
- Familiarity with various testing tools and their effective application.
- Experience with end-to-end software testing.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to update test cases in line with software changes.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
