TheCompounding Pharmacist is responsible for preparing customizedmedications to meet the specific needs of patients. This roleinvolves formulating mixing and dispensing medications whileensuring compliance with regulatory standards and qualityurance.

KeyResponsibilities :

  • Prepareand compound medications in accordance with prescriptions andelishedprotocols.
  • Ensurecompliance with all state and federal regulations related tocompounding.
  • Performquality control checks on compounded products to verify accuracyandsafety.
  • Maintainaccurate records of compounding activities and inventorymanagement.
  • Collaboratewith healthcare professionals to determine patients uniquemedicationneeds.

Requirements

  • Doctorof Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accreditedinstitution.
  • Licensureas a pharmacist in the relevant province orstate.
  • Knowledgeof compounding techniques andregulations.
  • Strongattention to detail and ability to follow preciseinstructions.
