Administrative Assistant - Compassionate and Supportive Role

We are expanding our services in Ottawa’s west end and currently have an opening for an Administrative Assistant. Join a dedicated team in a professional environment where you will provide meaningful support to both staff and the families we serve.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Coordinate and manage scheduling activities.
  • Maintain and organize documents and records.
  • Perform data entry and prepare reports.
  • Provide support with financial and billing tasks.
  • Offer general office support as needed.
  • Assist and support clients with compassion.
  • Ensure compliance and manage legal documentation.

Skills Needed :

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • High standards of integrity and compassion.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Education and Experience :

  • Completion of a secondary school diploma (Grade 12) is required.
  • Previous experience in customer service is essential.
  • Experience in data entry, record keeping, and scheduling is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is necessary.
  • A diploma or degree in Administration would be considered an asset.

Language Requirements :

  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in French, both written and spoken, would be an asset.

Position Details :

  • Start Date : December 2, 2024.
  • Contract Term : 14 months, ending on January 30, 2026.
  • Work Hours : Monday to Friday, from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM.
  • Annual Salary : $45,000 - 50,000.
  • Location : Baseline Road, Ottawa, ON (on-site).
