The Nitty-Gritty of What You’ll Be Doing :
- Determine vehicle repair requirements.
- Review damage reports, prepare and review repair cost estimates, and plan work to be performed.
- Perform quality repairs on a variety of vehicles.
- Repair damaged body and parts of vehicles, in accordance with manufacturer and dealership specifications.
- Disassemble and reassemble necessary vehicle parts needed to complete job.
- Operate power tools, hand tools, grind, and sand finished surfaces safely.
- Apply hydraulic frame straightening machine to straighten distorted vehicle frames.
- Follow all company and manufacturer policies, directive, and safe work procedures.
- Comply with required health and safety regulations.
A great attitude will get you 90% there, for the rest, we're looking for :
- Journeyperson Autobody Technician with a minimum of 2-5 years of experience
- Glass removal and installation skills or training
- iCar certifications Welding, Glass, Repairing would be considered an asset.
- Working towards the completion of a related post-secondary program and or training courses
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a safe driving history.
