The Job!
You will be an integral person in the sales process, ensuring new and continuing business for the firm. You will :
- Oversee the execution of the sales process.
- Conduct thorough research into prospective clients.
- Source and secure new clients and business opportunities.
- Manage portfolio of existing clients and relationships with clients.
- Facilitate intentional outreach and discovery meetings.
- Determine strategies and facilitate discussions to increase revenue.
- Execute creative campaigns to drive business.
- Advance the company brand through online / social media activity.
- Other tasks as required.
What you bring to the job
You are a self-starter with a "hunter's & farmer's mentality. You are proactive, creative, innovative, and driven with an eye for business opportunities.
Your core strengths are in prospecting, relationship building and customer service, and you have excellent business acumen. You also have :
- Post-secondary education in a relevant program related to design or equivalent work experience
- At least 3 years of experience in sales and prospecting.
- Proactive and experienced with securing new business opportunities.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of the sales process.
- Willingness and interest in learning and adapting.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Strong research skills for prospecting new clients.
- Passion or interest in design.
- Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills.
- A service-oriented approach and willingness to collaborate.
