POS QA Lead
Role Expectations :
The QA Analyst works onproject involving Retail Point of Sale systems for ex. OracleXstore 17.
Translates business requirementsto functional and technical requirements
Defines minimumfeature set acceptance criteria user acceptance tests
Contributes to planning and implementation for new applications andsystems
Monitors system performance and recommendsenhancements for underperforming areas
Applies in depthknowledge of applications in troubleshooting or problemsolvingacross teams.
Documents Manual TestCases Regression andSmoke testsuite to identified problems
Thinks to improvethe quality of product and QA best practices.
Assists intesting and participates in test phases prior to UAT
Updates technical specs based on testing prioritized defects orpostrelease lessons learned
Supports communication forapplication / system deployment
Knows to reproduceproduction issues into Stage and QA environment fordebugging.
Effectively manage and report on QA risks andmitigation and QA timelines.
Develop relationships andcollaborate with internal and external stakeholders for QAtimelines.
Ability to manage in Agile Kanban and Scrumenvironments.
Ability to work under pressure and handlemultiple project deadlines.
Stakeholder communicationAny deviations in QA timelines are tracked and dealt with in atimely fashion.
Familiarity and Experience with Javaunit testing frameworks would be considered as a greatasset.
Understands SDLC and the significance of ShiftLeft and the need for test automation towards the same.
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree or Certification inNetworking and Computer Systems or Equivalentexperience.
Automation experience in Oracle Xstore 17 ordesktop devices is highly valued.
System PerformanceTesting Experience for Oracle Xstore 17 will be considered anasset.
5 years of QA experience.
Priortesting experience in Oracle Xstore 17 is highly vaued or similarPoint of Sale registers / devices.
TechnicalDocumentation skills Strong written and verbal communicationskills.
Familiarity with IT SDLC processes Agile ScrumKanban
Compliance requirements such as PII PCI &SOX.
Ability to successfully work with different projectteams with competing priorities.
