Senior Procurement Specialist with 7+ years of experience , responsible for contract management, negotiation, and procurement strategy to ensure compliance and value optimization in alignment with client policies.
Must-Have Skills
- Experience with trade agreements and the Financial Administration Act, Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, and Public Works Act.
- 6+ years of experience in full-cycle sourcing, including RFPs, RFQs, evaluations, and contract execution .
- Strong contract negotiation skills with demonstrated ability in resolving vendor issues.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite tools.
- Experience using ERP systems, such as SAP.
- Completion of SCMP or equivalent certifications.
Nice to Have Skills
- Familiarity with tender systems and E-bidding platforms .
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Assist in finalizing contracts with vendors as per Contract Management Plans.
- Administer contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with the government’s guidelines.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and vendors to minimize risk and maximize contract value.
- Prepare RFX selection methodologies, evaluation plans, and final award recommendations.
- Proactively identify and resolve contract issues.
- Support procurement strategy development and refine business requirements.
