Senior Risk Management Specialist

Reporting to the Vice President of Risk Management, you'll be an integral part of their team, contributing to the development and implementation of cutting-edge risk management strategies across North American operations and projects.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate in the strategic development and execution of risk management strategies across the enterprise.
- Tailor risk management to align seamlessly with business objectives and risk appetite.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, leveraging diverse data and industry insights.
- Assess and quantify risks, considering financial, legal, and environmental implications.
- Provide expert guidance on risk and insurance matters to internal stakeholders, with a primary focus on Operations and Corporate Services.
- Coordinate with external service providers in insurance, finance, and legal domains.
- Engage in negotiations with owners and third parties to effectively manage project financial risks.
- Develop and implement innovative risk mitigation models and techniques while balancing effectiveness and cost-efficiency.
- Foster a culture of risk awareness and knowledge sharing throughout the organization.
Qualifications :
- Demonstrated leadership experience with a track record of delivering results.
- A bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business, Finance, Economics, or Law.
- Proven expertise in insurance and risk management principles and practices.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
- Self-motivated and able to meet tight deadlines without sacrificing quality.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
