Locally owned and operated, Park Ready Mix (PRM), is a division of Park Paving Ltd. and an industry leading producer of high-quality ready mix for the Edmonton market.
Reporting to the General Manager of Materials & Manufacturing, the Ready Mix Operations Manager is a strategic member of the leadership team operating primarily at Park Paving Ltd.’s main office in Edmonton. This position is a Full Time Permanent year round position Monday - Friday with overtime and weekend availability as required.
The Ready Mix Operations Manager is responsible for leading and managing the department, including all personnel, portable and stationary assets, ready mix production, safety, maintenance, budget planning and cost control.
Responsibilities include :
- Setting department / organizational objectives and providing guidance to personnel to ensure goals and results are achieved
- Supervise the production of all ready mix materials
- Effectively manage budgets and costs
- Ensure all site operations are compliant with all safety regulations and project requirements.
- Responsible for ensuring proactive, preventative maintenance completed on all stationary and mobile assets
- Recruitment and development of all employee positions
