Job Summary

We are seeking a Safety Engineer to join the This CompanyLoss Prevention organization (LP) which is the corporate safetyorganization within This Company.

We provide both daytoday infieldoccupational and process safety support to This Company operationsas well as centralized technical support and consulting function.

Our field offices are located in Abqaiq Riyadh Ras Tanura DhahranUdhailiyah Jeddah (including Yanbu and Jazan) and Tanajib.

Throughthese offices LP provides its services to all This Companyfacilities and departments that are located throughout theKingdom.

Your primary role as a Safety Engineer(Loss Prevention Engineer) is to provide daily support to companyfacilities and departments helping them effectively implement theThis Company Safety Management System (Occupational & ProcessSafety) expectations and associated programs as well as assuringcompliance to all company safety requirements.

Responsibilities :

• Facilitate the implementation of the ThisCompany Safety Management System including its objectives andexpectations by developing associated safety processes andparticipating in selfassessments.
• Conductfield inspections and reviews to assess compliance with company andinternational codes and standards identify safety concernsformulate solutions and develop practical and costeffectivecorrective actions.
• Identify evaluaterecommend actions and follow up on critical safety tasks andcontrol methodologies related to operational safety practices (e.

g.work at height isolation / LOTO permit to work hydrogen sulfideconfined space entry excavations).

• Participatein safety studies and activities using risk assessment andmitigation methodologies such as PHAs HAZOPs JSAs incidentinvestigations compliance reviews or insurance surveys.
• Respond to emergency situations and incidents providingtechnical assistance and advice during or after regular workinghours.
• Participate in worksite contractorsafety management activities including contractor selection andprequalification monitoring work site compliance and measuringperformance.
• Support the reportingclassification and investigation of all incidents participating inincident investigations to determine root causes and makerecommendations to prevent recurrence.
• DeliverLoss Preventionspecific training to employees contractors andoutside parties.
• Mentor other Loss Preventionpersonnel.

Requirements :

• Hold a Bachelors degreein Engineering or Engineering Technology from an AccreditedInstitution.
• Possess 7 years of experience asa safety professional in the oil and gas petrochemicals or relatedindustries with a strong track record of deliveringresults.
• Comprehensive experience coveringboth occupational and process safety.
• Excellent communication skills in English capable ofeffectively communicating with peers and management.
• Ability to produce clear and concise oral and writtenreports in English.
