What We Need

Oil & Gas Lawyer

• 8+ years of legal experience, preferably in both a law firm and in-house legal department.
• Extensive experience working in the oil and gas industry.
• Negotiate, draft, analyze, and interpret a wide variety of agreements such as joint venture agreements, operating agreements, land use agreements, gathering and processing agreements, and other commercial agreements.
• Advise on issues, and review, negotiate and draft various service arrangements and commercial contracts, including EPC agreements and other construction related agreements.
• Experience with LNG agreements, marketing, shipping, LNG sale and purchase agreements (MSPA / CNs and long-term SPAs) and service agreements related to LNG project development is an asset.
• Admitted and in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta or British Columbia.
