Bookkeeper- Contract

Do you have experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable and are looking for your next opportunity in Milton? Then we may have the perfect opportunity for you! Our team is currently hiring for a short-term contract position which can be for one month or potentially longer.

The ideal candidate for this position will have experience with both Quickbooks Online and Quickbooks Desktop. We are ideally seeking someone who has experience with Year End and Job Costing.

This is a contract position which offers a competitive pay rate of $25 - $28 an hour.

Validating year-end reports and ensuring that Accounts Payable and Receivables are correctly entered into the system

Ability to investigate the numbers and uncover any discrepancies

Creating reports and reviewing them with the team

Full cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

Entering information from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online

Account reconciliation

Full job costing and review

Qualifications

Past experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables, a minimum of 4 years experience

Proven ability to validate Year End reports and investigate variances in Accounting Data

Strong attention to detail

Knowledge of QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop

Strong Accounting Acumen
