Ourclient in the insurance industry is seeking a highly experiencedSenior Project Manager with a strong background in Agilemethodologies and traditional project management.
The idealcandidate will lead teams as a Scrum Master / Senior Project Managerguiding them to deliver highperforming results while fostering adeep understanding of agile principles and team dynamics.
Inaddition to Agile this role requires expertise in managingtraditional project lifecycles including Scaled Agile Kanban andSDLCmethodologies.
Whatis in it foryou :
Hourly salary of $86 to $100 based onexperience.
6monthcontract.
Fulltime position : 37.50 hours per week.
Workschedule from 9 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm. Some weekends may be required forimplementations that cannot be performed during regular businesshours.

Responsibilities :
Drive Agile processes and support Product Owners / Portfolio Managerswith planning and backlogmanagement.
Manage workflowtooling (e.g. Jira) to ensure backlog refinement highlight blockersand provide workflow reporting.
Facilitate standup meetings reviewing workflow issues and blockersas needed.
Collaborate withexternal teams to ensure continuous progress on keydeliverables.
Partner withPortfolio Managers to ensure efficient demand intake and accurateminute capture.
Strengthen teamsunderstanding of Agile / Scrum principles and coach them towards highperformance.
Align teams withAgile practices fostering transparency across Business IT andOperations regarding teamprogress.
Create a continuouslearning environment enabling teams to adapt to evolvingcircumstances.
Ensure teamactions align with project goals and overallvision.
Manage all phases oflarge or multiple medium highrisk cloud IT infrastructure projectsusing best practice standards andprocesses.
Develop and maintainstakeholder relationships to ensure project delivery expectationsare clearly defined and successfullymet.
Create and manage detailedwork plans project schedules estimates and resourceplans.
Identify and manageproject risks and issues ensuring effective strategies are in placeto mitigate or address them.
Ensure timely and effective communication within the project teamand with stakeholders.
Leadproduct plans reviews demos and competitive analyses with the teampartners and executiveleadership.
Collaborate withlarger program teams to develop external communication and actionplans using tools like JIRA Confluence andothers.
Whatyou will need tosucceed :
5 to 10 years of progressive experience as a Scrum Master / ProjectManager.
Foundational knowledgeof cloud computing (AWS Azure) isadvantageous.
5 to 7 years ofexperience in implementing medium to largescale technology / businessprojects including desktop technology data centers cloud computingmainframes distributed server environments webhosting servicesnetworks telephony unified communication securityetc.
Extensive knowledge of Agileprinciples and experience in adapting them to evolving environmentswith ambiguous requirements.
Agile certification (e.g. Scrum Master Kanban SAFe) isrequired.
Certified ProjectManagement Professional (PMP)designation.
Background insoftware delivery or development is aplus.
Proficient in workflow andcollaboration tools such as Jira Confluence SharePointServiceNow.
Strong workingknowledge of MS Project and the MS Officesuite.
Exceptional interpersonalskills emphasizing relationship management and teambuilding.
Ability to manageambiguity effectively and guide project team members throughit.
Strong communication skillscapable of conveying complex project and technical informationconcisely to management.
Stronginfluencing skills with the ability to resolve difficultsituations.
Strong facilitationskills to conduct successful meetings andceremonies.
Ability to createdetailed project plans for complex interrelatedprojects.
