Title : Business Analyst with Capital Markets / Wealth Management

Job Description :
Role and Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business processes (in Financial Institutions, especially Capital Markets), system processes, and industry standards to define and develop solutions to high level problems.
- Provides expertise in Equities domain with advanced level of understanding of the principles of the Trade lifecycle and applications programming to achieve technology goals.
- Plan and coordinate between upstream and downstream systems for assignments involving large budgets, cross functional project, or multiple projects.
- Handle the new onboarding and enhancement requests for data lake and propose solutions for the same considering technical stack.
- Contribute to technical direction and strategic decisions as a techno functional expert in all development and implementation phases, providing in-depth and sophisticated analyses to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
Develop application methodologies and standards for program analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
- Participate heavily in design discussions to ensure the Service Level Agreements are met without causing technical constraints to the system.
- Review the data models for the entities to be onboarded / enhanced and ensure that the defined standards are followed, and the model would be capable of handling the current and future expectations.
- Ensuring the data completeness and data quality is maintained and coordinate for any issues reported against the same and track them to completion.
- Lead the impact analysis for changes to any of the existing systems / data flows for downstream consumers and plan for the changes accordingly.
- Consult with end users to identify system function specifications and incorporate into overall system design.
- Strong understanding of various business roles to be able to do user profiling and define and lead the entitlements requests for the data access on data lake.
- Hands-on expertise in querying database to obtain and analyze large amounts of data.
- Create project documentations including but not limited to Business Requirement Documents, Functional Requirement Documents, Data Flow diagrams, Use Cases, Test cases.
- Review test case and participate in User Acceptance Testing
- Create and maintain the user stories and project backlog and participate in planning exercise based on business requirements.
- Contributes to and / or creates internal communications. Creates and prepares metrics and presentations. Persuades and influences others through comprehensive communication.
- Acts as advisor or coach and subject matter expert to new or lower-level employees; allocates work and maintains their Book of Work.
Provides in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
Provides evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual information in complicated and unique situations.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating special consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications :
- Comprehensive understanding of Capital Markets And Wealth Management.
- Experience in handling data onboarding for Data lakes / Data repositories
- Expertise in writing SQL queries
- Expertise in using MS Office Suite for project planning and execution.
- Experience in using tools like JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint
- Experience in implementing projects, systems analysis, and programming of software applications.
- Demonstrated Subject Matter Expert (SME) in area(s) of Applications Development
- Demonstrated knowledge of client core business functions
- Demonstrated leadership, project management, and development skills
- Relationship and consensus building skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
