Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Director of New Products to spearhead the development and launch of innovative products that will create new revenue streams for the company.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a robust background in product management, especially within the FinTech, Financial Services sector or similar industries.
This role requires a comprehensive approach to product lifecycle management, from ideation through to launch and ongoing optimization, emphasizing user experience and profitability.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and present business cases for new products, aligning with the company’s strategic objectives and financial goals
- Negotiate and finalize business terms and contracts with new vendors and partners
- Develop and launch a company-wide loyalty rewards initiative that drives member and employee engagement
- Manage ongoing product performance that includes P&L oversight while focusing on an optimal user experience
- Collaborate with PMO teams to detail business requirements and develop user stories for new product launches
- Partner with the Technology team to bring new products to fruition, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with business goals
- Partner closely with Marketing, Operations, and Retail teams to craft and execute go-to-market strategies that drive successful product launches and market penetration
- Assess competitive information by proactively keeping on top of the latest customer, industry and competitive developments
Qualifications
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in product management, preferably in FinTech or a related industry.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to develop strategies based on data-driven insights.
- Experience with contract negotiations and vendor management.
- Demonstrated success in launching and managing products, including P&L responsibility.
- Excellent collaboration skills, able to work effectively across teams and with all levels of management.
- Innovative problem solver with a proven track record of driving initiatives to completion.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
