AON is looking for Global Benefits Captive Underwriter - (Montreal - Hybrid)
Support revenue and growth for the EB Financing – Captive EB Services business within Global Benefits at a US regional level, through delivery of underwriting consultancy to clients.
The regional underwriter will be responsible for delivering policy underwriting consultancy to US based multinationals under the guidance of the Captive EB Services global Head of Underwriting.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to and execute the strategy for the Captive EB Services advisory business within Global Benefits
- Collaborate with client specific account management teams towards diligent and timely delivery of underwriting advice to those clients
- Review of UW data processed by Aon ABS
- Generate policy UW proposals to be shared with Risk and Insurance Management on client side
- Collaborate and share best-practices with other Regional HSM Underwriters under the lead of the Captive EB Services Head of Underwriting
- Entertain UW related conversations with EB providers across the US client portfolio
- Modelling reinsurance underwriting programmes to meet client-specific requirements
- Review reinsurance financial statements issued by the insurers and align with captive underwriting reports.
- Ensure Claims reporting is compliant with client’s requirements
- Support the captive team on managing accounts, implementation of EB captives, and feasibility studies.

Captive EB Services Consultant Profile
Ensure diligent delivery of Captive EB underwriting advice to high client satisfaction and as such indirectly contribute to sales and revenue growth of the Captive EB Services teamOrganise and coordinate ABS resources effectively to meet project / client deadlines, under guidance of the Head of UnderwritingBuild an internal network of Aon colleagues active in the underwriting / captive space, as well as an external industry contacts network.Key Skills
