Job Summary Hakka / Chinese Chef
At Food World Super Market, we are seeking a skilled and passionate Hakka / Chinese Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in preparing authentic Chinese cuisine, with a deep understanding of traditional cooking techniques and ingredients.
The Hakka / Chinese Chef will be responsible for creating a variety of Chinese dishes, from appetizers to main courses, ensuring that each dish is prepared to the highest standards of taste, presentation, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Menu Development : Design and develop a diverse menu featuring traditional and contemporary Chinese dishes, including dim sum, stir-fried dishes, soups, and special regional cuisines.
- Food Preparation : Prepare and cook high-quality Chinese dishes according to standardized recipes and cooking techniques, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
- Ingredient Management : Source, select, and utilize the freshest ingredients, including traditional Chinese herbs and spices, to create authentic flavors.
- Kitchen Management : Oversee the kitchen operations, including staff supervision, inventory management, and ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Training : Train and mentor kitchen staff in the preparation of Chinese cuisine, ensuring a high level of skill and knowledge among the team.
- Quality Control : Maintain the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation. Conduct regular quality checks on all dishes before serving.
- Innovation : Stay updated on the latest culinary trends and introduce new dishes and techniques to enhance the dining experience.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a Chinese Chef in a reputable restaurant or hotel.
- Expertise in a wide range of Chinese cooking techniques, including wok, steaming, frying, and roasting.
- Knowledge of traditional Chinese ingredients, seasonings, and cooking methods.
- Ability to manage kitchen staff and operations effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred.

Pay : $18.00-$22.00 per hour
