We Are Social is on the lookout for a confident, enthusiastic and passionate Influencer Manager to join our team in Toronto.
You’ll be reporting into the Influencer Lead, across multiple accounts for exciting brands nationally and globally.
Our Influencer Management team works closely with the Editorial, Creative, and Strategy teams as well as the Research & Insights and Production leads.
You must have a robust and competent understanding of the social media landscape and social channels, including being on top of all channel developments and the opportunities they offer to brands.
One key area will be working with influencer and creators to deliver mutually-beneficial content partnerships for brands, managing those relationships on a day to day basis to produce our work.
We expect you to have started building - or be able to show a passion for building- a network of creator partners across a range of different platforms and communities.
This network will be built with passion for their output and an ability to inspire both our team, our partners and our clients around creator-driven work.

What does this role involve?
- Management of day to day client activities as it relates to Influencers and Creators
- Management of client campaigns; support the team with outreaching to influencers, contracting, negotiating, etc.
- Build strong relationships with talent and agents across North America and abroad
- Support in client planning as it pertains to Influencer Marketing
- Day to day team management - ensuring people across all disciplines who work on the businesses you lead have the information necessary to complete their tasks
- Ensuring that all activity follows sign off processes both for yourself and your team
- Working closely with the Editorial and Creative teams on content ideation and production
- Manage client budget trackers
- Active involvement in new business pitching and preparation
- Creation of client report presentations as required and appropriate
- Active involvement in identifying new business opportunities on your clients, bringing them to agency leadership to decide how we move forward.
What are we looking for?
- A confident, passionate and enthusiastic Account Manager with 2-4 years experience in a creative or influencer agency or brand environment working in social.
- If you do not have direct agency experience please explain your transferable experience and how you can bring that into best in class client partnerships for our team.
- Articulate and able to present confidently to both clients and internal team.
- A curiosity for the brightest and best in social, and translating this into brilliant creative and editorial executions.
- Someone obsessed with the internet and how online culture shapes the world around us.
- Natural curiosity and understanding of consumer behaviours and mindset in social.
