JOB TITLE : Construction Laborer
Location : Toronto, ON
Salary : $18 Per Hour
Hours : 7am-430pm
150$ sign-on bonus after 2 weeks with us
Job Summary : As a Construction Laborer, you will work on various construction sites, assisting skilled tradespeople and performing a wide range of tasks to support the completion of construction projects.
Your responsibilities will include manual labor, operating machinery, and ensuring worksites are safe and clean.
Responsibilities :
- Perform physical tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites, including clearing debris and waste.
- Operate hand and power tools under supervision.
- Transport materials and equipment as needed around the worksite.
- Assist skilled tradespeople, such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers, with their tasks.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Adhere to project schedules and deadlines.
- Report any issues or concerns to supervisors promptly.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow instructions and work collaboratively with team members.
Requirements :
- Previous experience in construction or a related field preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and lift heavy objects.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols.
- Valid driver's license may be required depending on the job site.
- Stamina to perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions.
