Proposal and Communications Coordinator

Forbes Bros Ltd., is seeking an innovative Proposal and Communications Coordinator (Full time, Permanent) to support our marketing and proposals team, based out of our head office in Edmonton, AB.

The Proposal and Communications Coordinator will work Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm based out of our head office in Edmonton, AB.

This role offers a hybrid work environment, where the successful candidate will work in office Tuesday-Thursday with the ability to work from home the remainder.

The Proposal and Communications Coordinator will act as the gatekeeper for all corporate communication materials and will work closely with the Estimating team to assist with the completion of proposal deliverables.

Key Responsibilities :

• Partner with internal teams in the completion of branded assets such as signage, office printing, brochures, and other ad hoc requests using Adobe InDesign.
• Develop and execute the company social media strategy to drive engagement and achieve growth targets.
• Create and manage digital content, including website content, blogs, email campaigns, videos, and creative writing.
• Create, proofread, and revise all marketing materials and content for accuracy and adherence to brand standards.
• Define, prepare, and develop document templates, styles, and formats in adherence to brand standards.
• Process (receive, review, and file) high volumes of client documentation.
• Coordinate with various key stakeholders to evaluate and track the progress of proposals.
• Ensure critical information is communicated to internal and external stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
• Review, edit, and format technical and commercial documentation for proposals to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Monitor our client websites for new requests and opportunities.
• Assist with the development and execution of annual and ongoing marketing strategies and plans in alignment with overall business goals.
• Assist with the accurate tracking and reporting of proposal statistics by maintaining internal proposal database.
• Perform other tasks related to this function as assigned.

What We Are Looking For :

• University degree or post-secondary diploma in a related field, such as Marketing or Communications.
• Minimum two (2) years' experience in a proposal role.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Basic understanding of Adobe InDesign.
• Knowledge of marketing principles, strategies, and best practices across various channels, including digital, social media and content marketing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet the time demands of unpredictable activities, capable of handling pressure and challenges in a dynamic business environment.
• Experience with Marketing and Graphic Design is an strong asset.
