Key Responsibilities :
- Direct mechanic / electrical team, Maintenance Supervisors, administrator and purchaser
- Ensure implementation of Preventive Maintenance Program
- Formulate CER’s (Capital Expenditure Requests) for the electronic approval process.
- Manage, design & implement capital projects.
- Bring forth new ideas to improve on existing production processes.
- Propose energy conservation ideas.
- Ensure yearly code inspection certificates are acquired (Elec. permit, Boiler inspections, Fire Alarm Inspection etc.)
- Monitor and report on mechanical / electrical downtime.
- Ensure system for timely completion of Maintenance Repairs and Minor Production Improvements
- Lead Environmental Committee and the implementation of the Manufacturing excellence chapter.
- Active member of site leadership team.
- Coordinate contractor activities as required.
- Develop and manage budget for maintenance department.
- Monitor and report on budget status.
