Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Dispatcher at DCJ Logistics in Brampton, ON. The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling truck drivers, tracking shipments, communicating with drivers and customers, and ensuring timely deliveries.
Qualifications
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of transportation logistics and supply chain management
- Proficiency in using dispatch software and systems
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in dispatching or logistics coordination
- Detail-oriented and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in logistics or related field is a plus
