Purpose and Scope :
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Privileged Access Management Engineer to join our team. As a Privileged Access Management Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing privileged access to critical systems and sensitive data within our organization.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems by implementing and maintaining effective access controls and monitoring privileged user activities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, access management, and risk assessment.
Essential Job Responsibilities :
- Assist with the development, implementation and updating of a comprehensive privileged access management strategy and framework.
- Enforce privileged access policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and assess privileged access requirements.
- Design and implement access controls and authentication mechanisms for privileged accounts.
- Ensure the smooth functioning and operations of the Privileged Access Management Tool (PAM)
- Monitor and audit privileged user activities to detect and respond to any unauthorized access or suspicious behavior.
- Regularly review and update access privileges based on business needs and security requirements.
- Conduct periodic access reviews and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on privileged access management best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies in privileged access management.
- Collaborate with IT teams to identify and remediate any vulnerabilities or weaknesses in access controls.
- Participate in incident response activities related to privileged access breaches or security incidents.
- Collaboration and Communication :
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth PAM operations.
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and vendors.
- Participate in meetings and discussions related to PAM planning and improvements.
