Relevant du directeur de l'usine, le directeur de la stratification sera responsable du développement, de l'optimisation et de la normalisation des conditions de processus et des procédures de stratification en recherchant et en documentant les meilleures pratiques sur UTECO HORIZON, NORDMECCANICA SIMPLES & EGAN 2.

Tous les employés sont habilités à créer un environnement de travail sécuritaire et sans blessure et s'engager activement dans tous les aspects de SPS (Sonoco Performance System).

Ce poste sera à notre usine d’emballage flexibles de Terrebonne, au Québec.

Ce que vous allez faire :

Créer et maintenir un environnement de travail progressif et sécuritaire pour les employés.

Participer avec l'équipe de direction et le directeur d'usine au développement de KPI pour le département de laminage.

Développer tous les projets d'immobilisations (CER) requis pour le département de laminage.

Collaborer avec le directeur technique dans le développement de nouveaux produits, la gestion des produits, la R&D et les clients pour créer et mettre en œuvre de nouveaux matériaux / processus dans la fabrication à grande échelle.

Assurez-vous que les employés comprennent et atteignent leurs objectifs / normes personnels de production. Dans les cas où la production ne respecte pas les normes de production et / ou de qualité, élaborez et mettez en œuvre un plan d'action corrective pour garantir que les machines respectent les normes.

Crée une culture et un environnement de changement et d'amélioration continus en incorporant des stratégies SPS dans l'ensemble de l'organisation de fabrication.

Diriger des projets pour mettre en œuvre des changements dans les processus et les équipements afin d'améliorer la sécurité, la qualité et la productivité à l'aide de Lean, 6-sigma et d'autres outils d'amélioration continue (y compris l'analyse statistique).

Assurer la conformité avec le programme de sécurité alimentaire de Sonoco, y compris la qualité, la sécurité et l'entretien ménager / nettoyage.

Interagir fréquemment avec les opérateurs de l'atelier de fabrication et à solliciter leurs commentaires.

Participer à des équipes inter fonctionnelles de résolution de problèmes et d'amélioration au niveau du département et de la division.

Effectuer d'autres tâches assignées.

Nous aimerions avoir de vos nouvelles si vous avez :

Baccalauréat en génie chimique ou en génie mécanique

3 à 5 ans de travail dans un domaine connexe de la production ou de la gestion de supervision.

Une connaissance de la production au plus juste, de la gestion de la qualité.

Une connaissance fonctionnelle des équipements de production spécifiques à l'industrie et à l'organisation.

La capacité de lire et de comprendre les informations techniques relatives au fonctionnement de l'entreprise.

La capacité de fournir une amélioration des processus SPS, une amélioration de la qualité des produits et un service client au client.

Compétences en Six Sigma, Lean et développement des employés

Connaissance fonctionnelle des applications logicielles (en particulier Epicor (ERP) et les applications Office 365 - Word, Excel, PowerPoints, Teams, etc.)

Excellentes compétences en communication écrite et verbale - capacité à établir des relations avec une main-d'œuvre diversifiée à tous les niveaux de l'organisation

Parfaitement bilingue en anglais et en Français, oralement et par écrit.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Department Manager will be responsible for developing, optimizing and standardizing process conditions and procedures for lamination by researching and documenting best practices on the UTECO HORIZON, NORDMECCANICA SIMPLES & EGAN 2.

All employees are empowered to create an injury-free environment and actively engage in all aspects of SPS (Sonoco Performance System).

This position will be at our Terrebonne, Quebec Flexibles packaging plant.

What You’ll Be Doing :

Create and maintain a progressive and safe work environment for employees.

Participate with Management team and Plant manager to develop KPI for the lamination department .

Develop all capital project (CER) required for the lamination department.

Collaborate with the Technical Manager in new product development, product management, R&D, and customers to create and implement new materials / processes into large scale manufacturing.

Ensure that employees understand and meet their personal goals / standards for production. In instances when production output is not meeting production and / or quality standards, develop and implement a corrective action plan to ensure machines are meeting standards.

Create a culture and environment of continuous change and improvement by incorporating SPS strategies throughout the manufacturing organization.

Lead projects to implement changes to process and equipment to improve safety, quality, and productivity with the use of Lean, 6-sigma and other continuous improvement tools (including statistical analysis).

Ensure compliance with Sonoco Food Safety Program, including quality, safety and housekeeping / cleaning.

Interact with and seek feedback from operators on the manufacturing floor on a frequent basis.

Participate in cross functional problem-solving and improvement teams at the department and division level.

Perform other duties as assigned.

We’d love to hear from you if you possess the following requirements :

A Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or mechanical engineering

3-5 Years working in related field of production or supervisory management.

Knowledge of lean manufacturing, quality management.

Functional knowledge of the production equipment specific to the industry and organization.

The ability to read and understand technical information as it relates to the operation of the business.

The ability to provide SPS process improvement, product quality improvement and customer service to customer

Functional knowledge of software applications (specifically Epicor (ERP), and Office 365 applications Word, Excel, PowerPoints, Teams, etc.)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills ability to relate to a diverse workforce in all levels of the organization.

The ability to schedule and direct employees to perform efficiently and cost-effectively and effectively motivate and engage people to achieve goals.

Fluently Bilingual in English and French, both orally and in writing.
