About the role
Our Cloud Center of Expertise is looking for a Cloud Governance Advisor / Product Owner
The Cloud Governance Advisor / Product Owner is responsible for the strategic planning, and delivery of cloud-based products and services. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including devops, operations, and managements, to ensure that the platform meets LOB needs and achieves business goals. The Cloud Governance Advisor / Product Owner will act as the primary point of contact for the product, ensuring alignment with the company's vision and LOB requirements.
What you'll do here :
Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for cloud-based services.
Translate business goals into product requirements and specifications.
Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring that the development team is working on the most valuable features.
Write clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria.
Work closely with stakeholders, including LOB, support teams, to gather requirements and feedback.
Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
Planning of deliverables including coordination of dependencies with collaborators.
Work in collaboration with the manager to set the priorities of the team backlog while ensuring the team’s buy-in.
Cooperates with the Scrum Master to drive the team towards results and identify team improvements.
Facilitates the evaluation and acceptance of the sprint deliverables.
Ensure that backlog items have requirements and acceptance criteria.
Participate to the team’s rituals such as the daily’s, demos and retrospectives.
Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release / Sprint Goals.
Collect and integrate the needs, requirements and expectations of the stakeholders, clients and collaborators into the team’s backlog.
Follow our competitors and the industry.
Keep abreast with Agile / Scrum best practices and new trends.
What you bring to the table :
Strong understanding of cloud technologies and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, with a focus on cloud-based products or services.
Relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or AWS Certified Solutions Architect are a plus.
Proven track record of managing and delivering successful cloud products.
Familiarity with HashiCorp products is advantageous
Expertise in IT governance (ITIL, Cloud framework, etc.)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Bilingualism (French / English)
No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
