New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Network Analyst / Data Distribution Specialist to help our client support major hospital development projects.

Responsibilities : Working knowledge and experience in the design, specification, and construction of the physical data distribution elements required in a new building, including : Communication rooms (including power and cooling components)Pathway tray and conduit systemsFiber opticCopperCoaxialLow voltage cabling for networksServersWiFiDistributed antenna systemsMultimedia networksMedical equipment networks and building system networksWork directly with architects and engineers.

Knowledgeable and capable of assessing or commenting on designs from the perspective of practical construction.Capable of assessing and commenting on Builder designs and data distribution construction from the Owners requirements perspective and the Owner’s ability to maintain, add, delete, change in the future.

Proficient at reviewing sketches / CAD drawings from engineers and architects, and can prepare sketches and CAD drawings to aid designs and specifications.

Experts in the clients Communications Standards and Guidelines.Requirements : 12+ years of direct experience in the design / construction of Data Distribution elements.

Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) designation preferredExperience on large complex multi-faceted projectsCollaborator / team player experienced working with multiple stakeholders.

Seasoned intuitiveness about personal and team productivity.Ability to turnaround work in quick order and relatively good quality (minimal avoidable rework).

Work effectively under time pressure.Prepared to take initiative.Prepared to make long-term commitment.Flexibility to be re-assigned in response to shifting priorities and needs across Capital Projects.
