As a Field Application Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the execution of Cart Containment and Purchek installations, undertaking preventive maintenance, and managing system troubleshooting across various regions in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation of Cart Containment and Purchek installations for the company and conduct preventive maintenance on these systems.
• Travel to diverse locations throughout the country to effectively manage and troubleshoot the company's systems.
• Possess the ability to engage with the US Engineering team at a highly technical level, particularly in discussions involving electronics, software, and mechanical engineering.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and standards when installing equipment in commercial facilities.
• Make substantial and well-informed decisions at job sites, determining the necessary actions to address system issues.
• Excel in multitasking within a fast-paced environment, emphasizing attention to detail, organizational efficiency, and effective problem-solving.
• Demonstrate a commitment to following directions and instructions, all while maintaining a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Possess a minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience directly relevant to configuring and supporting devices within a retail setting, encompassing point-of-sale systems, alarm systems, and security camera systems.
• Demonstrated expertise in electrical and low-voltage devices, with practical experience utilizing tools such as an oscilloscope and RF Spectrum Analyzer.
• A robust understanding of RFID and Bluetooth Communications is required.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills are imperative for fostering cooperation and achieving positive outcomes.
• Desirable qualifications include prior experience in a technical or manufacturing environment.
• Essential attributes encompass strong communication abilities, adept multitasking skills, and the capacity to independently apply retained training knowledge.
• Proficiency in various office software, including Navision, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Smartsheet, is a prerequisite.
