Make an impact within our Indigenous EASE Services team as a Senior Accountant. This diverse team of professionals are dedicated to exceeding clients’ unique needs within a rapidly evolving business and financial reporting landscape.

With more than 250 Indigenous clients and 500 team members dedicated to this sector, no other firm has invested as much time and resources into serving the unique needs of Indigenous communities.
You will work with Indigenous organizations to help them to enhance their financial practices and strengthen their financial management through a dynamic range of services including :
- Conducting insightful assessments to uncover and address opportunities within their finance department
- Leading engaging workshops to redesign financial processes
- Implementing cloud accounting software to optimize efficiency
- Coordinating impactful capacity building and training workshops
- Supporting the integration of best practices in financial management
- Providing expert recommendations and guidance on financial reports and adjustments
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the proposal, planning and delivery of client engagements, including project logistics
- Conduct thorough business and program assessments, focusing on people, processes, and technology to identify and mitigate potential risks
- Deliver exceptional client service, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional responses to business development and project-related requests
- Complete business process mapping and analysis to drive improved outcomes
- Innovate and contribute new ideas to enhance work processes and efficiencies
- Bring expertise with cloud accounting software to support to clients and team members with proficiency
- Support clients in implementing new financial software and provide ongoing support to ensure long term success
Skills and Experience
- Three to five years of business experience in a client-service environment with a preference for experience with Indigenous Peoples, communities or organizations
- Solid understanding of full-cycle bookkeeping including trial balances, general ledger databases, and financial statement processes with demonstrated project management skills
- CPA or CAFM designation an asset
- Related certifications are advantageous
- Flexibility to travel to engage with clients in-person, as needed
