Production Supervisor (Welding)

Position : Production Supervisor - Welding

Location : Oakville, ON

Salary : $70,000 - $80,000 Yearly

Industry : Manufacturing / Fabrication / Welding / Production

Employment Term : Full Time / Permanent

Shift : Afternoon

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Oversee the production process including the setup and operation of equipment, to meet project requirements and deadlines
• Collaborate with the team to schedule and prioritize welding tasks, optimizing workflow and resource utilization
• Train, mentor, and evaluate the staff, providing feedback and addressing performance issues as needed
• Monitor and enforce strict compliance with welding procedures, quality standards, and safety protocols to ensure a secure and efficient work environment
• Maintain accurate records of production metrics and providing regular reports to management
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience :

• Post Secondary education in a related field
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in a welding / fabrication environment
• Previous experience in the automotive industry is a definite asset
• In-depth knowledge of welding processes, techniques, and equipment
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Familiarity with safety regulations and a commitment to creating a safe working environment
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
