MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

Location : Mississauga Ontario L5J 1K5

Salary : 80-90K+(based on level of experience)

Dayshift Position Mon-Fri with the flexibility for occasional shift work, weekend and on call.

Job Description :

• to daily equipment break downs, Install / upgrade equipment and act on any building related challenges on daily basis
• daily routine checks on equipment to detect damages, or needs for repairs on equipment and schedule or assign work in a timely fashion.
• for scheduling the PM of machines i.e. conveyors, palletizer, wrapper, sub floor line, foam lines and CNC router.
• be proficient in troubleshooting any electrical issues like motor, sensor, circuit, VFD and PLC with minimal supervision.
• of dealing with the outside contractors, service providers and PM service providers on daily basis.
• be knowledgeable about maintaining the parts inventory healthy and ordering parts.
• proficient in using the internet and Microsoft tools effectively.
• able to create / attend the daily and weekly downtime meetings with the production team and the plant supervisor.
• safety very seriously and maintain the company safety record flawless.
• with all company rules & policies regarding health safety, occupational safety, environmental safety, legal regulations, company requirements, etc.
• in the development of team members through training and collaboration.

Job Requirement & Qualifications :

• years maintenance experience is required (plant, warehouse, manufacturing environment) in which 3 years in a leadership role.
• to read manuals, blueprint and identify parts.
• in trouble shooting, repairs, installation of equipment and an expert level of PLC skills.
• thorough hands on troubleshooting knowledge of PLC RS Logix5, 500 and 5000 is highly desired.
• understanding of AUTOMATION is required.
• license 442 with Allen Bradley PLC knowledge is a MUST.
• 433 Millwright license, G2 gas fitter or any other license would be an asset.
• of electrical and mechanical is required. (bearings, rollers, conveyors, wrapper, pneumatics and hydraulic system along with Gear motors, sensors, drives, VFD etc.).
• to stand for long periods of time, bending, lifting and moving objects with no physical limitations.
• verbal and written communication skills.
• learner and knowledge on continuous improvement.
• to work in a Medium-paced team environment and with minimal supervision.
• to maintain high efficiencies of the lines as the quarterly bonus directly based upon the efficiency.
• company pay quarterly bonus, a sense of urgency is highly desired in this role.
