This position will involve the individual working primarily out on the shop floor, programming and operating a "BEAM LINE" machine. In addition the individual may also get involved with the below descriptions :

• Prepare Tekla models following the structural and architectural design drawings and specifications in compliance with applicable standards and building codes
• Connect steel members per connection design information provided by the EOR
• Create and modifies drawings for Approval, Assembly, As-builts, and Erection Drawings
• Coordinate with fabricators, engineers, to meet project requirements
• Prepare drawing packages and issue them to the client per scheduled delivery dates
• Any level of knowledge of Tekla Structures
• Experience in structural and miscellaneous steel construction and fabrication and the ability to read drawings
• Self-motivated and able to complete multiple tasks with minimal guidance
• Deadline-driven with an attention to detail
• Read and Interpret Architectural and Structural Building Plans
• Create set of Shop Drawings for Structural steel items showing required dimensions, welds, holes, locations.
• Create set of Shop Drawings for Miscellaneous steel items showing required dimensions, welds, holes, locations.
• Use and Understand AutoCad, including basic concepts and basic drawing setup and creation.
• Use and Understand TEKLA SOFTWARE operation and detail processes.
• Use & Understand Basic Weld Types and Sizing in various applications.
• Calculate various basic geometric elements involved in construction to include rise, run & radius.
• Understand Basic Construction techniques
• Plan & Calculate lengths and dimensions of various steel elements according to construction tolerances.
• Understand basic Fabrication Process
