We are looking for a Staff Accountant for our company in the manufacturing industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a full cycle accountant who has had a lot of experience with vendor management, oversight of AP / AR processes and ideally has worked in a manufacturing industry.
This company reports to a publicly listed entity in US - exposure to publicly listed companies will be a strong asset.

Responsibilities
As the Staff Accountant you will be responsible for :
- Performing all month / quarter and year end activities - revenue recognition, variance analysis, cost accruals
- Vendor management for Canadian and US portfolio
- Reconciling general ledger accounts including prepaids, general accruals and payroll accounts
- Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations
- Filing GST / PST and post sales taxes entry on a monthly basis
Qualifications
A successful staff Accountant in Coquitlam will have :
- 2+ years of Full Cycle Accounting experience
- Exposure to manufacturing environment will be an a BIG ASSET
- Exposure to publicly listed companies and / or U.S exposure will be an asset
- Strong Excel skill, ability to interpret and analyze data
