IVR Quality Assurance Tester (Intermediate)

Our client is seeking a skilled IVR Quality Assurance Tester to join their dynamic team. As an IVR QA Tester, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of their Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems, guaranteeing a seamless user experience.
Job Responsibilities :
- Conduct thorough quality assurance testing on IVR systems to ensure functionality, usability, and reliability.
- Develop and execute detailed test cases, scripts, and scenarios for IVR applications, covering call flow, menu navigation, and voice recognition.
- Test individual components or modules of the IVR application to ensure proper functioning in isolation.
- Perform end-to-end testing to validate the complete IVR system against defined requirements.
- Regularly re-run existing test cases to ensure that new changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
- Evaluate system performance under various loads to ensure scalability.
- Assess the usability of the IVR system for different customer types, including testing voice prompts and menu flows.
- Verify the system's ability to recover from hardware or software failures while maintaining data integrity.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements, such as data protection laws.
- Develop automated tests to streamline testing processes.
- Collaborate with IVR development teams to troubleshoot issues and expedite defect resolution.
- Work closely with software developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand IVR requirements and devise appropriate test plans.
- Document defects, bugs, and inconsistencies in IVR functionality with clear reproduction steps.
- Maintain test environments and data integrity for accurate testing activities.
- Participate in meetings and reviews to communicate test results and recommendations.
Desired Skills :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Tester or Quality Assurance Engineer, preferably with IVR testing experience.
- Familiarity with Cyara Pulse and Cyara Dashboards for IVR Functional Monitoring.
- Knowledge of HP ALM and Jira for test case tracking.
- Understanding of IVR concepts, including call routing, voice recognition, and telephony systems.
- Proficiency in testing tools such as HP Unified Functional Testing (UFT), Selenium, or similar automation tools.
- Solid grasp of software testing methodologies and test case development.
- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting complex IVR issues.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Certification in software testing or IVR-related certifications is advantageous.
