Job Summary :
As a Senior Mechanical Designer, you will be responsible for the design and development of mechanical systems for various building projects.
This includes HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the design and development of mechanical systems for building projects, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.
- Prepare detailed mechanical drawings, specifications, and documentation using Revit.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to ensure design feasibility and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to integrate mechanical systems into overall building designs.
- Perform calculations and simulations to ensure system efficiency and performance.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers and engineers.
- Review and approve design documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 8+ years of experience in mechanical design, with a focus on building systems.
- Proficiency in Revit and other relevant design software.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Professional Engineering license / designation required
