Role :

WeighPackR&D team is currently looking for an experienced Industrial Mechanic Millwright to drive the successful assembly of diverse packaging machinery projects.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the precise execution of mechanical assembly, adhering to the standards and specifications set by both the client and our engineering department.

As a key player, your role extends beyond routine assembly to the meticulous construction of standardized mechanical units, requiring extreme attention to detail.

You'll thrive in an environment where your ability to interpret both mechanical and electrical drawings is essential for the seamless execution of manufacturing projects.

An integral part of this role is the conduct of Pre-FAT & FAT tests, as well as equipment demonstrations to clients. Your effective communication skills will be crucial in recommending the correct solutions to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.

Outcomes of this role :

  • Perform mechanical assembly according to the standards and specifications of the client and the engineering department.
  • Assemble standardized mechanical units with extreme care.
  • Perform manufacturing projects within delays and allocated budgets while meeting established specifications.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Perform Pre-FAT & FAT tests as well as equipment demonstration to clients.

Other stuff we look for :

  • Five (5+) years’ of mechanical experience assembling of automated machinery
  • Depth understanding of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic functions
  • Ability to troubleshoot
  • Basic keyboarding skill and familiar with MS Office package
  • Willingness to take initiative and ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to successfully handle a multi-tasked role
  • A strong work ethic with a positive "can-do" attitude and one who takes pride in the quality of their work
