Job descriptionDoctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent. Valid and up‑to‑date OMVQ licence. Good observation, organisational and communication skills. Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills. Physical ability to lift up to 20 kg and perform other required movements. Location : 445 Boul. Armand‑Frappier, Laval, QC, H7V 4B3. Transportation : Free parking. Near the Montmorency Subway. Electric vehicle charging station. Annual bonus based on performance. Schedule : Mostly daytime Monday to Friday, with rotations on evenings, nights, and weekends as needed. Full‑time permanent position (37.5 hrs per week). Clinical Veterinarian – Charles River Laboratories
Job Summary
As a Clinical Veterinarian for our Veterinary Services team in Laval, you will be responsible for the well‑being of our laboratory animals. Your contribution will ensure the health of our animals and the integrity of our pre‑clinical studies.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide optimal medical care, diagnosis, and treatments as per accepted veterinary practices.

- Review and optimise animal monitoring and SOPs related to animal care.
- Serve on the animal ethics committee and lend your expertise to evaluate all procedures performed on animals before studies begin.
