RESPONSIBILITIES

TÂCHES / RESPONSABILITÉS

Lire et interpréter des plans électriques, des schémas à contacts et des normes
Installer, réparer, calibrer et entretenir tous types d’équipements électronique, mécanique et pneumatique
Installer, vérifier, remplacer et réparer des câbles électriques, prises de courant, boîtes de commutation, conduits, artères, montages de câbles à fibres optiques et coaxiaux, appareils d'éclairage et autres composants
Procéder aux essais de matériel électrique et électronique et de composants pour vérifier la continuité, le courant, la tension et la résistance
Diagnostiquer et résoudre des problèmes de toutes sortes (dépannage) en collaboration avec les employés de production et le personnel technique
Poser des conduits en surface ou dans les murs, les planchers et les plafonds, passe les fils et fait les raccordements nécessaires.
Procéder à l’installation, à l’entretien et à la réparation d’équipements électriques variés tels que : moteurs, transformateurs, interrupteurs, chauffe-eau, systèmes de chauffage, ventilateurs et climatiseurs.
Coordonner les travaux effectués par des sous-traitants ou des ouvriers moins expérimentés ou non spécialisés.
Exécuter des programmes d'entretien préventif et tenir des registres d'entretien;
Respecter le code d’éthique de la compagnie et ses valeurs. Assurer que les équipements, les installations, les outils, les méthodes de travail ainsi que les activités sont efficaces, sécuritaires et conformes aux normes prescrites.
S’acquitter de toutes autres tâches qui pourraient lui être confiées.

JOB SUMMARY

The primary responsibility of this position is to perform installation, repair, and maintenance work on electrical systems within the establishment as well as to establish and implement preventive maintenance routines.

Ensure maintenance, repair, installation, upkeep, and all other operations related to electrical systems. Ensure proper operation and propose improvements for the various electrical systems.

DUTIES / RESPONSABILITIES

Read and interpret electrical drawings, ladder diagrams and standards

Install, repair, calibrate and maintain all types of electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic equipment

Install, check, replace and repair electrical cables, outlets, switch boxes, conduits, arteries, fiber optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other components

Perform electrical and electronic equipment and component tests to verify continuity, current, voltage and resistance

Diagnose and solve problems of all kinds (troubleshooting) in collaboration with production and technical staff

Lay conduits on the surface or in walls, floors, and ceilings, pass the wires and make the necessary connections.

Install, maintain, and repair various electrical equipment such as : motors, transformers, switches, water heaters, heating systems, fans, and air conditioners.

Coordinate work performed by sub-contractors or less experienced or unskilled workers.

Perform preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records.

Respect the company's code of ethics and its values. Ensure that the equipment, facilities, tools, work methods and activities are efficient, safe and comply with prescribed standards.
