About the Technical Architect Position The overarching responsibilities of the Technical Architect on a project are to collaborate with the Technical Director for their team, consult on the vision for a project, create concrete and actionable architecture, and lead a team to execute on it.
As a Technical Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the architecture of solutions to meet client needs for e-commerce and website projects.
This includes ensuring technical requirements are met, managing the project backlog, collaborating with cross-functional teams, providing technical guidance, conducting code reviews, and supporting the sales cycle.
You will work closely with project managers to deliver solutions on time and within scope. Additionally, you will communicate regularly with clients, contribute to internal process improvements, mentor developers, and stay up-to-date with relevant technologies.
With 5-10 years of experience in back-end development, a strong grasp of web architectures, and excellent communication skills, you will play a crucial role in the success of client projects.
Responsibilities Responsible for the architecture of solutions and participating in the development of client projects to meet their needs in e-commerce and website creation.
Ensure that the solutions meet the customer's technical, functional, and non-functional requirements as well as the architectural standards of the project.
Ensure the solution implementation is compatible with the architectural needs of the customer.Work with project managers and development teams to ensure solutions are delivered on time, on budget, and true to scope.
Communicate regularly with external clients regarding the progress, challenges, timelines, and results of their projects.
Contribute to the effectiveness of development projects by analyzing, designing, and evolving the architecture of clients' environments in line with their current and future structure and needs.
Responsible for managing the backlog.As needed, support the company in the sales cycle as well as the project definition phases.
Support developers in their learning and progression.Contribute to the consistency and quality of developments by participating in code reviews and following best practices in development and testing.
Work in an Agile development environment, be part of the SCRUM team and contribute to the improvement of the internal functioning of the team.
As needed, collaborate with external suppliers and partners, and integrate their systems / tools into our solutions.Keep up to date and improve internal development processes.
Qualifications 5 to 10 years of experience in Back End Development (.Net)Strong understanding of the foundations and architectures of the Web in a .
NET environmentExperience in Content and Technical Architecture DesignExperience developing B2B and / or B2C websitesUnderstanding eCommerce / eBusiness Concepts (Catalogs, inventory, pricing, transactions, order management, Membership)6+ Enterprise solution experiencesExperience in System Integrations, esp ERP, PIM, but also CRM, DAM, CDPUnderstanding of commerce related marketing and analytics practicesIn-depth understanding of web application security best practicesAn understanding of search engine friendly markupAn understanding of site search techniquesKnowledge of React, VueJS, TypeScript is a plus.
