Your Opportunity

We are looking for a translator (English to French) to join our Translation and Linguistic Services team in the Montreal office.

The successful candidate will own the following responsibilities :

• Translate various Accounting and Assurance documents
• Translate various Tax articles and reports for Advisory Services
• Translate service offers and documents for Marketing, Human Resources, Payroll, etc.
• Provide linguistic advice
• Conduct terminology research
• Understand and follow the firm's work methods and terminology to ensure consistent quality of translations
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned

Experience and Education

• You hold a degree in Translation
• Practical translation experience (minimum of five years’ experience required), in the financial or accounting sector (an asset)
• Project management skills
• Strong knowledge of computer-assisted translation software (SDL Trados Studio) and terminology databases
• Bilingual (French and English, both written and spoken)
• Knowledge of Accounting and Assurance terminology currently used by members of the profession and CPA Canada (an asset)
• Professional with a strong emphasis on teamwork and client service
• Member of OTTIAQ (an asset)
