Position overview

Reporting to the Manager, Learning & Development, the Specialist will be spearheading the development of comprehensive training programs for our employees in stores.

From the onboarding experience to leadership development, this person will leverage our Learning Management System (LMS) and virtual delivery systems to enhance the employee experience.

The incumbent will have the opportunity to focus on building people capability through innovative and creative training solutions for store employees across Canada.

Responsibilities :

Content Creation & Facilitation (65%)

• Evaluate and evolve our existing learning offerings to ensure that we continue to move the needle on learning effectiveness;
• Voice of the customer Re-envision our store onboarding process for retail employees;
• Create omni-mode content (written, video, tutorials, virtual trainings, audio);
• Establishes e-learning procedures, templates, and parameters and continuously makes them better.

Litmos Platform Management (30%)

• Manages and optimizes the Learning Management System to ensure efficient delivery of training materials;
• Stays abreast of industry trends and makes suggestions to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our system.

KPI Reports (5%)

• Understands, masters, and automates certain periodic reports when required;
• Generates and analyzes reports to help prepare dashboards.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Competencies

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field;
• Minimum 5 years of experience highlighting a combination of program management, e-learning instructional design and facilitation;
• Demonstrated experience working with Learning Management Systems;
• Demonstrated ability to design highly interactive, visually appealing, and meaningful learning experiences for a remote-first audience at scale;
• Excellent verbal and visual communication skills, with an appetite for distilling information to what matters most - Simpler is better!
• Experience with Litmos platform (an asset);
• Must be bilingual (French & English). This position required interactions in both languages with our Field Managers across Canada.
